    The site gained an orientation layer: what the Regulation says about scope, roles, tiers and penalties, the evidence chain read as one pipeline, a Spain page, and eight worked scenarios. Every sentence of it renders from cited data, under the same build gate as the obligations.
    
    -   New: Basics, covering what an AI system is, who the Regulation binds, the operator roles and how they move, how the Act sorts systems, what the fines actually are, and who owes what for open and general-purpose models.
    -   New: the evidence chain, reading Articles 12, 19, 26(6), 72 and 73 as one pipeline, with what the text says kept visibly separate from one way to satisfy it.
    -   New: Spain, pairing AESIA, the governance bill and the AEPD guides with the EU provision each one sits beside, and a note on harmonised standards and the presumption of conformity.
    -   New: eight scenarios, illustrative and marked as such, each naming the provision that decides the tier and what would make the answer change.
    -   New: commonly misquoted notes on Articles 12, 13, 19 and 99, and on the Title that does not exist.
    -   The glossary grew from 20 terms to 37.

    Every EU legal act behind this site was re-fetched from the Publications Office and compared byte for byte with the capture committed here. All 21 captures matched, so the source review date on every page moved to this entry.
    
    -   Verified: the consolidated Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the authentic 2024 act, Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, the implementing regulations, Directive (EU) 2022/2557, Recommendation (EU) 2025/1099 and the three Court judgments, in English and Spanish.
    -   Nothing changed upstream, so no capture was replaced and the law collection was not re-ingested.
    -   The check is reproducible: npm run verify:sources.

## Where the dates come from

The source review date is written by a script that re-fetches every EU legal act from the Publications Office and compares it byte for byte with the capture committed in this repository. It is never produced by a build or by an editorial pass, and if a capture has changed the script refuses to stamp anything.
